Who is responsible

The data controller for arcarios.com is RENARD PUBLISHING, SLU, Carrer Roc dels Escolls 9, AD500 Andorra la Vella, Principality of Andorra (see the legal notice).

What we collect

We set no advertising cookies and run no ad network. Apart from the analytics described below, nothing you do here is followed.

Our hosting and delivery provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data (such as IP addresses and request logs) to serve and secure the site. We access this data only in aggregate form.

Cookies and analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics to count page views and see which articles get read. It sets cookies on your device. Your IP address is truncated before storage, we run no advertising features, and nothing here is used to build a profile of you.

No analytics cookie is set before you accept. Refusing takes exactly one click, the same as accepting, and it changes nothing to what you can read. You can change your mind at any time with the Cookies link at the bottom of every page.

Google Analytics is operated by Google LLC in the United States. Accepting therefore means your data is processed outside the European Economic Area.

We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without following you across sites. It needs no consent and is not affected by your choice above.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, your email address is processed by Substack Inc., in the United States, to deliver it. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link included in every email, and your address is then removed from the sending list.

Why we are allowed to do this

Analytics run on your consent alone, which is why nothing is measured until you accept and why you can withdraw at any time. Your email address is processed because you asked us to send you the newsletter, and stops being processed when you unsubscribe.

How long we keep it

Analytics data is kept for 14 months, then deleted. Your email address is kept for as long as you stay subscribed. Cloudflare's technical logs follow its own retention, measured in days.

Your rights

Under Andorran data protection law (Law 29/2021) and, where it applies to you, the EU GDPR, you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Write to jerome@renardpublishing.com and we will respond within one month.

If you think we handle your data badly, you can complain to the Andorran Data Protection Agency (APDA) or, if you live in the European Union, to the supervisory authority of your own country.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The current version is always published here.
