About

An investing media built on numbers, not opinions.

Arcarios publishes plain-English analysis of stocks, index funds and dividend strategies, plus original data studies produced with our own analysis engine. Part of the Soverios group.

The editor

Who writes this

Jérôme John Renard

Arcarios is written and edited by Jérôme John Renard, an entrepreneur and long-term investor. He builds and runs the screening engine behind the studies published here, and has spent years working with data-driven marketing and analytics before turning the same discipline on public market data.

He is not a licensed financial adviser and does not manage money for anyone. What he brings to this site is method: a refusal to publish a number without its source, and the engineering to compute the ones nobody has published yet.

Editorial responsibility for everything on this site, including errors, rests with him. Reach him at jerome@renardpublishing.com.

Standards

Editorial principles

Every number is traceable

A figure either links to the document it came from, or is labelled as our own calculation with the method attached. If we cannot trace it, we do not publish it.

Analysis, never advice

We explain what the numbers say and where investors typically get hurt. We never tell a reader what to buy, when to sell, or what their allocation should be.

Signed and dated

Every article carries a named author, a publication date, and a visible revision date when the facts change. No anonymous content, no silent edits.

Errors get published, not buried

Corrections appear in a public log with the date and what changed. Our methodology page describes the process and the two-day turnaround.

Independence

Ownership, money and conflicts

Arcarios is published and operated by RENARD PUBLISHING, SLU, an Andorran company, as part of the Soverios group. Full company details are on the legal notice.

The site makes money from its free newsletter and from paid educational products published by the same group. It does not sell coverage: no company, fund or broker can pay to be analysed, mentioned, or left out. We run no sponsored articles and no affiliate links inside analysis.

The editor invests his own money in public markets and may hold positions in companies discussed on this site. That is exactly why nothing here is a recommendation: the safeguard is not a promise of neutrality, it is that we publish the method and the numbers so you can check them yourself.

How the research is produced, and how errors get corrected, is set out on the methodology page.

The line

What we will never do

  • Tell you what to buy or sell: we publish analysis, not advice.
  • Promise returns, or use hype to sell a dream.
  • Publish a number we cannot trace to a source.
  • Accept payment in exchange for coverage or a verdict.
